ABOUT ALBERNI LIFELINE
The Alberni Lifeline medical alarm gives seniors and those with chronic medical conditions the security and confidence to continue to live independently at the one place they feel most comfortable – their own home.
The easy-to-use personal emergency response service that lets users summon help any time of the day or night – even if they are unable to speak or the Personal Response Associate is unable to hear them.
Alberni Lifeline Monitoring is partnered with Lifeline Canada, the leading Canadian medical alert provider. The WCGH Foundation is your local provider of the Lifeline service which is personally installed and maintained by representatives who live in our community.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It's all done with one press of the Personal Help Button, worn daily on a wristband or pendant. When pressed, a Personal Response Associate from Lifetime Canada's Response Centre will ensure you get help fast.
Personal Response Associates specialize in medical alarms and the needs of seniors; they are professionally trained and must re-certify annually. Even if there is something preventing a Personal Response Associate from hearing you, they will have your information on file and be able to get help to you quickly. They can contact loved ones, neighbours, or EMS based on your needs when you push the Personal Help Button.
